THE SOUND SOCIETY — IVAN SMAGGHE B2B VLADIMIR IVKOVIC

\-----------------------------------------------------

\### ALL NIGHT LONG

For our December gathering at Village Underground Barcelona, The Sound Society brings together Ivan Smagghe and Vladimir Ivkovic for a rare B2B, all night long.

Two selectors with deeply personal musical languages, a shared disregard for genre boundaries and a reputation for taking dancefloors somewhere unexpected.

Ivan Smagghe has spent decades developing what could almost be described as a style of no style: moving through obscure records, electronics, wave, psychedelia, techno and the stranger corners of club music without ever losing sight of the dancefloor.

Vladimir Ivkovic approaches DJing with a similarly open philosophy — digging beyond obvious genres and eras, building sets through unexpected connections rather than predictable formulas.

Putting them together for an all-night B2B opens up a different proposition.

No predetermined journey and no obvious destination. Records answering records, ideas colliding, tension building and disappearing again. Two singular musical minds given enough time to take risks, change direction and find that strange dancefloor alchemy that can only happen when nobody quite knows what comes next.

Rare to see. Impossible to predict.

Ivan Smagghe b2b Vladimir Ivkovic.

All Night Long.
