Broken: Il potere del frammento

An exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, named after its theme of the fragment: Broken, il potere del frammento. The route revolves around what remains of a broken whole and the value it can take on by itself.

The title, Broken: Il potere del frammento, points to the exhibition's guiding thread: the fragment, what remains of a broken whole, and the meaning it can take on when viewed as an object in its own right. The route winds through the rooms of the palazzo, where the works are arranged according to the display designed for this project, and visitors follow the sequence put forward by the curator.

Palazzo Strozzi is a Renaissance palazzo in the centre of Florence, which hosts exhibitions and cultural events. Its spaces house the exhibition route of this show, which is aimed at those who wish to explore the theme of the fragment through a visit guided by the arrangement of the works and by the curator's narrative.

The exhibition can be visited for as long as it remains open, with no fixed entry time, and allows visitors to focus their attention on each passage between the rooms. The theme offers a clear vantage point for anyone who wants to read the works in relation to breakage and recomposition.
