Cent’anni di Feldman: Three Voices e Kristia Michael
Cent’anni di Feldman: Three Voices e Kristia Michael at Teatro del Lavoro (10064 Pinerolo), on Sunday 29 November 2026 at 19:30. Tickets available.
Checked on 28 October 2026.
Overview
On the centenary of his birth, Musica in Prossimità pays tribute to Morton Feldman with Three Voices, the composer's final work for solo voice, in which the voice multiplies and overlaps with itself to build a rarefied, almost immaterial polyphony.
The dilation of time alters its perception, returning it as a suspended presence, removed from its physical dimension.
The piece is interpreted by the Cypriot vocalist and sound artist Kristia Michael, whose research spans contemporary and early music, experimental vocal practices and the ritual dimension of listening.
