Ariete at Alcatraz Milano

Arianna Del Giaccio, known as ARIETE, was born in Anzio (RM) in 2002.

She started playing the guitar at the age of eight and the piano shortly after, soon developing a passion for songwriting and composition and cultivating an intimate, direct style that would become her trademark: "Bedroom Pop".

She signed with Bomba Dischi and in 2020 released her debut EP "Spazio", followed in December of that year by the single "Tatuaggi" with gli Psicologi (platinum, FIMI/GFK) and her second EP "18 anni" (gold), which includes "Mille guerre" (gold).

In 2021 she achieved breakthrough success with "L'ultima notte", triple platinum, written for the soundtrack of the Netflix series "Summertime" and also chosen as an advert for Cornetto Algida, while "Pillole" reached platinum and her collaboration with Rkomi on "Diecimilavoci" added another platinum disc to her FIMI awards.

On 25 February 2022 her first album "Specchio" (gold) was released, featuring Franco126 and Madame, and it totalled 1 million streams in its first 24 hours.

In September 2023 she released her second album "La notte", preceded by the single "Rumore", an eleven-track record that marks a return to the roots of bedroom pop. The accompanying tour of indoor arenas made her the youngest Italian female artist to perform in those venues.

In 2024 she presented "Ossa rotte" at the Concerto del Primo Maggio and in summer took the "La notte d'estate" tour to seven Italian cities. In 2026 she is preparing to return to live performance with a club tour scheduled for the autumn.
