Museo Leonardo da Vinci Roma

The Museo Leonardo da Vinci in Rome offers a visit dedicated to the work and inventions of the Tuscan master amidst underground rooms and interactive workstations.

The Museo Leonardo da Vinci welcomes visitors to an exhibition space located in the underground premises of the parish basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo in Rome. The itinerary is aimed at a broad audience, including history enthusiasts and science enthusiasts, offering the opportunity to observe close-up reproductions of machines designed by the inventor. The visit includes workstations based on virtual reality technologies to observe Renaissance Florence from a different perspective, as well as sections dedicated to his most famous sketches and paintings.

Inside the rooms there are also in-depth study areas focused on anatomical studies and painting technique, accompanied by an artistic studio designed for manual activities. The exhibition links the various fields of Leonardo da Vinci's research, from mechanics to painting, through installations and consultable materials along the route. The configuration of the underground spaces requires attention due to the architectural conformation of the venue hosting the collection.
