Nero Kane

The Chiesa Valdese di Roma hosts the music of Nero Kane and Black Snake Moan for a live event dedicated to independent sounds.

The project features guitarist and singer Nero Kane, joined by the vocal and instrumental contribution of Samantha Stella, along an artistic path that moves through stripped-back blues, twilight ballads and dark textures. The sound design combines American-rooted influences, dark folk drifts and gothic echoes, placing itself within a landscape that recalls the expressive territories of artists such as Nick Cave and the works of Michael Gira. This stylistic direction has found space in museum contexts and places of worship across Europe and the United Kingdom, including ecclesiastical spaces.

The Chiesa Valdese di Roma includes this event within its schedule of public events and performances in the capital. The concert offers the opportunity to listen live to the tracks from the repertoire, including songs from the album released by the Subsound Records label. The encounter between the guitars and the arrangements traces a sonic path geared towards listeners interested in the evolutions of independent rock and its darker, more ritualistic ramifications.
