Overview
Ballet of Lights: Dornröschen brings classical dance art and modern technology to the stage in a visual production.
This production is a newly interpreted version of the well-known fairytale Sleeping Beauty, combining classical dance with visual effects. Six local dancers shape the performance on the stage of Freiheitshalle München. A central element of the staging is costumes that glow in the dark, which visually emphasise every movement of the participants and shape the action in the hall. María Farelo and Cristian Pérez of Luma Artistas SL have conceived this show.
The programme is aimed at an audience aged five and over, with minors under sixteen years of age attending in the company of adults. The performance lasts around sixty minutes without an interval. Drinks can be purchased on site, and the venue is accessible for wheelchair users. For attendance at this event in Munich, timely arrival before the start is recommended.
