Royal Pet Museum: A Hidden Art Experience for Animal Lovers

The Royal Pet Museum in Munich presents an extensive collection of animal portraits and offers visitors insights into a hidden art experience.

During a guided tour of the Royal Pet Museum & Shop in Munich, visitors discover a special collection dedicated entirely to animal portraiture. The tour leads into a quiet courtyard and further up into the museum's rooms, where more than three hundred works can be seen.

The exhibited paintings and portraits are dedicated to pets, nature and scenes from everyday life, vividly turning animals into characters with their own stories. M. Pishvanova created these works, which can be viewed from close up during the visit.

This exhibition is aimed equally at animal lovers and those interested in exploring the city's hidden cultural spots. After the tour through the rooms, there is the opportunity to look at art prints, postcards, antiques and other animal-inspired souvenirs.

Access to the venue is via stairs, and the guided tours are offered in both German and English.
