Coilguns

The band Coilguns are performing as guests at Import Export, presenting their independent mix of punk and noise rock.

The group stems from the DIY hardcore scene environment and, over the course of their existence, has developed a distinct musical signature of punk and ecstatic noise rock. Their career is closely linked to the Humus Records label, which is run by guitarist Jona Nido and has since released numerous recordings by a wide variety of Swiss musicians. Following earlier albums produced entirely independently, the formation travelled to the north of Norway to Oceansound Recordings to make recordings for a studio album together with producer Scott Evans, whilst the subsequent mixing was carried out by Tom Dalgety.

Import Export in Munich serves as the venue for this guest performance. Audiences can expect a concert as part of the current tour, where the musical influences and the genesis of the releases come together on stage.
