Visit the largest museum in the Nationalgalerie network, which focuses on 21st-century art. Explore the extensive collection of contemporary works by renowned artists across a range of exhibitions.
The Hamburger Bahnhof (Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart) is housed in the former station between Hamburg and Berlin. The 30,000 m² site, which includes the historic station building, the Rieckhallen and the garden, has been under heritage protection since February 2023.
The indoor and outdoor exhibitions shed light on the Berlin art scene from reunification in 1989 to the present day. Up to 10 special exhibitions a year showcase current works by artists from around the world.
The museum also offers guided tours, workshops, performances, concerts and lectures every day.
