Hermanos Gutiérrez

Hermanos Gutiérrez present their instrumental programme at the Tempodrom in Berlin, combining Latin American sounds with guitar-driven compositions.

The Hermanos Gutiérrez project was founded in 2015 by two brothers of Ecuadorian-Swiss descent who grew up in Switzerland. The band is dedicated to instrumental Latin music and combines guitar playing and percussion in their repertoire. Over the course of their career, the duo has released several albums that unite influences from surf music, western motifs and melancholic moods. The recordings were created, among other places, in collaboration with producer Dan Auerbach in Nashville and are musically dedicated to Latin American roots, South American culture as well as influences from traditional styles such as Argentine milonga or Colombian and Peruvian sounds.

Tempodrom in Berlin provides the setting for this evening, which is aimed at an audience interested in instrumental guitar music and world music influences. The musicians will be on stage with their current programme, creating various soundscapes ranging from desert romance to wide horizons.
