PETRI Berlin

PETRI Berlin is a venue for exhibitions and cultural events in the capital. The permanent exhibition is devoted to archaeology and shows how finds from the ground reach the display.

The exhibition traces the journey of a find, from the excavation to its presentation in the house. Visitors can view original finds from the house's own collection, which serve as a guide through the route, and try out at interactive stations in the main exhibition itself what archaeology investigates and how it works.

There are separate offers for families. A treasure hunt designed for children leads through the rooms, and family workshops focus on hands-on participation, such as a ceramics restoration workshop titled ‘Zerbrochene Stücke bringen Glück’, offered as a drop-in.

The visit suits anyone interested in archaeology, and families with children who want to discover together. The exhibition is a permanent one, so you can plan your visit as you wish for as long as the house is open.
