Simple Minds - European Tour - Live 2027 | Premium Packages

The British new wave and alternative rock band Simple Minds are performing as guests at the Lanxess arena in Cologne as part of their tour.

Simple Minds were founded in 1977 in Glasgow by singer Jim Kerr and guitarist Charlie Burchill and are counted among the defining representatives of the British new wave and alternative rock movement. The band were under contract with Virgin Records for many years and released their debut album Life in a Day in 1979. Over the decades, the formation developed an extensive repertoire that gained worldwide attention and sustainably shaped the sound of European rock music. For this guest performance in Cologne, tracks by Level 42 are also on the programme, who are likewise part of the evening.

The concert takes place at the Lanxess arena, which as one of Cologne's major venues regularly hosts concerts and performances. The evening is aimed at an audience that is interested in established pop, rock and indie music and wants to experience the long-standing band history live on stage. The venue provides the appropriate setting for this tour.
