Overview
Steaming Satellites in Strom
Holy Shit!
20 years of Steaming Satellites!
Since their debut album Neurotic Handshake at the Local Clown Party (2006), Steaming Satellites have been on tour across Europe and the USA. As a support act for bands like Portugal. The Man, Alt-J, The White Lies and many more, they have already won over a large audience and gained international acclaim.
Their unmistakably emotionally charged sound and ecstatic live performances leave no one cold and leave you wanting more. Their music, which is situated somewhere between indie, alternative, psychedelic and space rock, has not only been celebrated in the charts, but has also found resonance in the film world, including on the soundtrack to the award-winning film Das finstere Tal. Various Netflix series have also already been underscored with the sound of the steaming satellites.
In search of a breath of fresh air, Steaming Satellites are venturing into new dimensions once again. With the album The Great Lime Paradigm, due for release in autumn 2026, the band around singer-songwriter Max Borchardt presents itself from a new side. Slightly lighter, fresher and more carefree than ever before. Away with the ballast!
The driving force was not to be crushed by the heaviness of the world. Art as a bearer of hope, music as an outlet!
