Exposición conmemorativa: Antonio Lamela, arquitecto 1926-2017

The COAM hosts the exhibition Antonio Lamela. Arquitecto 1926–2017 from 2 October to 10 December, organised to mark the centenary of the architect's birth and within the framework of the XXIII Architecture Week. The show traces his work and professional career through a variety of materials.

The exhibition forms part of the various activities organised to commemorate the centenary of Antonio Lamela's birth (1926–2017) and to recall his figure, his work and his professional career.

Through a selection of architectural models, photographs, plans and audiovisual material, the show offers a journey through the architect's career and allows visitors to approach his output from different perspectives. The exhibition will be presented on 6 October at 19:00.

To mark this anniversary, a large-format book dedicated to Antonio Lamela has also been published, gathering a broad selection of photographs of his projects.

The commemorative initiatives are complemented by the documentary Antonio Lamela, EL VIAJE, produced by CLARQ FILMS, whose premiere is scheduled for December and which explores the architect's figure from a closer and more personal perspective.
