Mujeres artistas: trayectorias a través del prerrafaelismo (1850-1914)

Exhibition dedicated to the women artists who worked in the orbit of Pre-Raphaelitism between 1850 and 1914, with works from different trajectories brought together at the Fundación MAPFRE in Madrid.

The exhibition brings together works by women artists associated with Pre-Raphaelitism, the British movement that emerged in the mid-nineteenth century and sought to recover a detailed and meticulous way of seeing in contrast to academic painting.
