Tour Directo de la Barrica

Tour Directo de la Barrica is a rum tasting outing at Flor de Caña Experiencia in Madrid, combining three moments designed to explore the ageing process from the wood to the cup.

The outing consists of three linked experiences. The first involves being served an 18-year-old rum directly from the barrel in which it matures, so that the attendee tastes the drink at its place of origin.

The second is a guided tasting through the five senses: sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. Its purpose is to teach attendees how to observe and describe a rum methodically, step by step.

The third offers a sensory pairing with coffee and chocolate, in which the rum is combined with chocolate, orange and coffee. It is designed for those who want to compare flavours rather than limit themselves to a single tasting, and it suits both couples and groups of friends interested in the world of rum.
