Ana Lua Caiano

Ana Lua Caiano at La Nau

Ana Lua Caiano returns this year with the presentation show for her new album, on a special tour that promises to expand even further her singular sonic universe.

Released internationally by Glitterbeat Records, this is a record of sharper, protest-minded lyrics in a world that grows ever more unsettling. Armed with an increasingly eclectic range of instruments and techniques, Ana Lua Caiano has prepared an album of firsts: the sounds already characteristic of her previous releases are joined by a greater prominence of keyboards, piano, wind instruments and vocal harmonies, as well as an increasingly unsettling and unbridled layering of sounds. A mechanism that remains connected, stays alive and keeps increasing its pace.

In the already well-known single "Uma Vida A Menos", Ana Lua Caiano continues to deepen a musical language built on unease and on the transformation of discomfort into creative material.

Among drum machines, field recordings and reinterpreted traditional elements, the new concert becomes a space of tension and discovery, where the music opens up to urgent social themes and to an approach that is simultaneously progressive and transgressive.
