Overview
Carminho (Lisbon), daughter of the fado singer Teresa Siqueira, is one of the great voices of contemporary fado. She made her debut at the age of 12 at the Coliseu dos Recreios and gained international projection with Fado (2009) and Alma (2012).
She has collaborated with artists such as Caetano Veloso and Pablo Alborán. In 2025 she releases her new album, Eu vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir, a work that delves deeper into female narrative within Portuguese music and further expands her artistic universe.
