Experiència immersiva Dinosaurium

An immersive journey through the world of dinosaurs combining large-format projections, virtual reality and interactive installations at the Centre d'Arts Digitals l'Ideal in Barcelona.

Dinosaurium offers a journey of 240 million years through the ecosystems of the past, a very long period when compared with the brief presence of human beings on Earth. The project brings together art, science and technology to turn current palaeontological knowledge into an immersive artistic route.

The itinerary is built around large-format projections, virtual reality experiences, interactive installations and exhibition spaces. Throughout the visit, visitors move among dinosaurs at life size and can see what the landscapes in which they lived looked like.

The content is advised by researchers from the Institut Català de Paleontologia who specialise in the study of dinosaurs and link the route to the most recent scientific discoveries. The proposal is designed both for palaeontology enthusiasts and for families and science-curious visitors who want to approach the Earth's past from a visual perspective.
