JazzCat

JazzCat is a Catalan-style jazz quartet.

Its first distinguishing feature is that the principal solo instrument is the flabiol (a traditional Catalan whistle), which has never before been heard in the world of jazz, and its second is that it uses popular Catalan tunes, arranged within a jazz context.

That said, let it be clear: none of this would amount to anything if it were not for the rest. The result is a quartet that has been operating for more than ten years and presents a very particular repertoire. Don't miss the concert because, you can be sure, it will surprise you.
