Joe Jackson

The British composer and musician, one of the great dandies of British new wave, eclectic and chameleonic, will give a concert on 20 October at Teatro La Latina as part of the tour promoting his new album: Hope And Fury.

At 71, Joe Jackson returns to Spanish stages to perform the compositions of Hope And Fury, his forthcoming studio work of nine tracks. The foundations of this new record were laid at Michael Tibes's Fuzz Factory studio in Berlin, before the production was completed at the Reservoir studios in New York with co-producer Patrick Dillett. For this recording and the subsequent tour, the artist has once again brought together his trusted regular band (bassist Graham Maby, guitarist Teddy Kumpel and drummer Doug Yowell), enriching his proposal with the Latin percussion of Peruvian musician Paulo Stagnaro.

With a career spanning more than twenty studio albums and six Grammy nominations (Best Pop Instrumental Album for his acclaimed Symphony No. 1 (1999)), the British artist will display all his elegance on stage. An essential concert in which the premiere of his new songs will coexist with a revisiting of the great classics that have defined his career across pop-rock, jazz and new wave.
