La gran renùncia

Mariona Berenguer, Júlia Nueno, Marta Azparren and Lumbung Press Curated by Antonella Medici The term great resignation refers to the mass resignation of workers that took place after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Millions of people decided to leave poorly paid jobs, work without recognition or meaning, in a collective gesture of disconnection.

Through installations, audiovisuals, drawing and graphics, the project reflects on the limits of work and the need to interrupt the productive rhythm.

At the same time, it proposes a reading of the systems of labour exploitation throughout history, which still persist and which, in fact, have mutated into new forms of control and self-demand.

This exhibition invites us to recover time, care and practices that escape the algorithm.
