Madrid Otaku 2026

Madrid Otaku is an event aimed at all fans of the world of manga, anime, cosplay, video games and, in short, all the trends surrounding Japanese popular culture and the entertainment industry. The Caja Mágica venue will host the tenth edition of this gathering, which takes place on 24 and 25 October.

The new edition of Madrid Otaku returns full of exhibitions and guests. In addition to a wide variety of activities, including dance and karaoke competitions, this fair is characterised by its carefully curated selection of stands, featuring the latest releases and publications from manga publishers and authors.

A gathering that includes special guests, among them cosplayers, writers, actors, directors and illustrators of popular works in the genre. At this fair, designed for the enjoyment of fans of Japanese culture and manga, music also plays a major role. There will be no shortage of musical groups and singers from the Japanese scene.

For this tenth anniversary, the presence of content creators and cosplayers has been confirmed, such as Cristina Salas, a cosplayer from Santander since 2015, specialising in creating anime and video game characters; Comic Pau, a collector and enthusiast of anime and manga culture; Geheichou, who has more than a decade of experience in the world of cosplay; Toshio Maeda, a genuine legend of adult manga, will be with us in Madrid; and Hiroki Takahashi, the Japanese singer known as the original voice of ‘Makafushigi Adventure!’, the legendary first opening of DRAGON BALL.

Madrid Otaku joins other gatherings the city hosts on this theme, such as the popular and well-established fair Japan Weekend Madrid.
