Matí de Festa Major

Programme: 11am: Welcome from the Federation and a display of popular culture by the Castellers de Barcelona and the Ball de Bastons del Clot, which get the morning under way. 11:30am: Presentation of the prize to the winning poster design.

11:45am: XIII Ball de Rams popular de l'Esbart Sant Martí. Performance of the Ball de Rams de Sant Martí. A dance recovered and choreographed by David Martínez and Coral, director of the Esbart Sant Martí de Barcelona. A living dance that anyone who wishes can join in.

12:30pm: Dance of the 30th anniversary of the Gegants del Clot. 1:30pm: Festa Major proclamation by the Escola d'Adults del Clot. We welcome three weeks full of joy and life to the streets and squares of the neighbourhood.

1:45pm: Satirical versots by the Diables del Clot from the Orfeó Martinenc. Full of humour, fire and, above all, social criticism.

A festive tradition that puts everyone in their place, makes us laugh and, at the same time, prompts us to reflect on current affairs in the neighbourhood and the wider world.
