Tequila Comedy Sants

Open mic comedy at La Iguana - Cultura de proximitat in the Sants neighbourhood of Barcelona, where comics from the local scene and guests try out new routines in front of an audience.

Tequila Comedy Sants is a live comedy open mic. Several comics from the local scene, plus the occasional guest, take to the stage to try out recent jokes, polish their routines and gauge the audience's reaction. Each set lasts between seven and eight minutes, and the material can be performed in Spanish or Catalan.

The evening is hosted by a presenter, who links the performances together. Halfway through the night there is an interval with a surprise linked to the show's own name. During the show it is also possible to have dinner and order a drink, so the format combines live comedy with a relaxed night out with friends.

It is aimed at anyone who wants to see comedy in a try-out format, with material still in progress and different voices throughout the night. The show takes place at La Iguana - Cultura de proximitat, in Sants, a neighbourhood cultural space.
