Agnes Obel, born on 28 October 1980 in Gentofte (Denmark), is a Danish singer-songwriter and musician, based in Berlin (Germany).
Her first album, Philharmonics, released in 2010, was certified gold (IFPI). In October 2011, Agnes Obel won the European Border Breakers Award 2012. In November 2011, she won five awards at the Danish Music Awards: Best Album, Best Pop Release, Best New Artist, Best Female Artist, and Best Songwriter. This was followed by the albums Aventine (2013), Citizen of Glass (2016), Myopia (2020), and The Meaning of Flowers (18 September 2026).
