About — The artist
Thursday is an American post-hardcore band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Thursday released its first album, Waiting, at the end of 1999 with guitarist Bill Henderson, who left the band in 2000 and was replaced by Steve Pedulla. The band gained popularity with its second album, Full Collapse, in 2001, and released its third album, War All the Time, in 2003, which reached seventh place on the Billboard 200.
Thursday released its fourth album, A City by the Light Divided, in 2006, and two other albums, Common Existence and No devolución, before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2011. In January 2013, Geoff Rickly confirmed the band's split. The band reunited in 2016.
