About — The venue
The Centro de Arte Santa Mónica (in Catalan, Centre d'Arts Santa Mònica) is a cultural centre in Barcelona. It opened in 1988 under the name Centro de Arte Santa Mònica, under the direction of Josep Miquel Garcia. After going through different stages, in 2009, under the direction of Vicenç Altaió, it was renamed Arts Santa Mònica and in November 2013 it was refocused as the Centro de la Creatividad, a showcase and mouthpiece for the creativity of Catalonia.
