Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi: The Nobility of Chamber Music

A classical music concert devoted to chamber repertoire, that is, works written for small groups of instruments, at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, a venue that hosts concerts and performances in the city.

"La nobiltà della musica da camera" is the title of this classical music concert at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan. Chamber repertoire differs from the symphony in its smaller number of performers and in a style of writing in which each instrument has an independent part.

The Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi is Milan's institute of higher musical education and hosts concerts and performances in the city. This event brings chamber music back to the institute's own home.

The repertoire includes trios, quartets and sonatas for solo instrument and piano, forms that have spanned several centuries of music history. In its most widespread form, the string quartet entrusts four string instruments with a balance of voices.
