Cecilia Guzmán Sánchez and Alessio Nelli live

Two musical paths that meet to create a project in which classical training engages in dialogue with Andalusian and Latin American popular music.

Cecilia Guzmán Sánchez, a singer from Granada who trained at the conservatoires of Granada, Venice and Milan, brings to the stage a voice and an interpretative sensibility rooted in the lyric tradition. Alongside her is the pianist Alessio Nelli, with whom she embarks on an artistic journey devoted to reinterpreting great masterpieces of popular music.

Together, the two musicians traverse melodies and repertoires from different geographies, reinterpreting them with a personal and contemporary outlook. An encounter between classical elegance, emotional intensity and new sonorities, in which distant musical traditions find common ground.
