Ana Lua Caiano

Ana Lua Caiano brings to the stage at Biko her musical research that unites Portuguese tradition and electronic sounds, among synthesisers and acoustic instruments.

Ana Lua Caiano fits into the contemporary Portuguese music scene through an offering that unites traditional roots and electronic languages. In live performances, the project develops in an autonomous dimension where the voice joins keyboards, loop stations, bass drum and percussion, fusing samples and acoustic instruments.

The recording path includes the debut album entitled Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado, released on the Glitterbeat Records label, followed by new studio works that introduce lyrics oriented towards reflection and protest. This music appeals to audiences interested in the crossovers between folk and contemporary electronic production, within the spaces of Biko in Milan.
