Louis Armstrong

Laguna Libre hosts a musical tribute dedicated to Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra, featuring a band that performs live reinterpretations of the most famous tracks from the repertoire.

This event is part of the programme at Laguna Libre, a Venetian venue dedicated to live music and performances. The evening offers a journey through the melodies of two foundational figures in twentieth-century music history, Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong, reinterpreted through arrangements performed by a musical group.

Louis Armstrong, the trumpeter and singer from New Orleans, has shaped the history of jazz since the 1910s, releasing recordings including the album Louis and Earl on the Columbia Records label. On stage, the lineup performs representative tracks such as What a Wonderful World and Fly Me to the Moon, offering the audience a chance to listen to the compositions that defined the evolution of the genre and the musical culture of the period.
