Malasartoria Milano w/ Johnny Marsiglia

Johnny Marsiglia at BIKO

For the first time on the same stage, Malasartoria Milano and Johnny Marsiglia: a unique opportunity to hear Johnny's tracks rearranged by one of the strongest live hip hop bands around.

MALASARTORIA MILANO is a band born in the shadow of the Lombard capital, which has made respect for the sample its musical mission. Every composition puts samples at the centre, treated with care and mastery, reworked in a contemporary style thanks to the twenty years of experience of its musicians, all rooted in hip hop and its contaminations. The collective reinterprets some classics of rap (and not only), interweaving them with new grooves and explosive improvisations, giving life to performances with a strong sonic and visual impact.

Sharing the stage with them is JOHNNY MARSIGLIA, a leading figure in the Sicilian hip hop scene, who came to rap in the early 2000s, joining the crew Gotaste and standing out for the depth of his lyrics, the care of his metres and a personal style that blends introspection, identity and hip hop culture.

After his debut with Radiografia (2007), released under the pseudonym Johnny Killa, he made Sentire non è ascoltare (2009), Orgoglio (2012) and Fantastica Illusione (2014), the last two produced entirely by Big Joe, with whom he formed one of the most recognisable partnerships in Italian rap. Still with Big Joe, in 2018 he released Memory, already considered a classic of the genre, while in 2023 he returned with Gara 7, a concept album inspired by basketball and the metaphor of the game of life.
