Ennio Morricone & Nino Rota - Cine Philharmonic Orchestra

Come and listen to the enduring work of these two unforgettable masters, of great vitality and brilliance: A tribute to Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota. An intense journey through those soundtracks that have moved us the most.

Universal melodies that have made us laugh, cry, dream, suffer and leap from our seats, which are already part of the collective memory and which now take on a life of their own outside the screening rooms.

From the melodious guitar that gives A Fistful of Dollars its fascinating yearning, to the nostalgic Cinema Paradiso, Morricone's music has enriched some of the best films ever made.

With innovative instrumentation and an intriguing tonality, he left an unmistakable mark on films such as Once Upon a Time in America, The Untouchables and, of course, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Inseparably associated with Federico Fellini's films, Nino Rota is even more famous for his magnificent scores in The Godfather films, where the melancholy trumpet, dramatic strings and accordion evoke a familiar and festive atmosphere with a fatally sinister touch.

This orchestral concert revisits the music of the composer whose extraordinary talent conjured it all up, from a travelling circus in Fellini's La Strada and the decadence of life in Rome for La Dolce Vita to the debauchery of Casanova and the wicked glamour of Death on the Nile.
