Las que gritan

José María del Castillo (Delirios y Martirios, Brujas madrinas or Tengo una debilidad) directs a comedy written together with Antonio Rincón-Cano that reflects on the importance of communication, family and the pursuit of happiness. Actresses Soledad Mallol, Mariona Terés, Marina San José, Rocío Marín and Laia Alemany lead the cast of this show, which can be seen from 1 July to 30 August at Teatro Maravillas.

The four actresses bring to life a family made up of a mother and three daughters. The mother, Consuelo, wants to be happy and wants her daughters to be happy too. To that end, she decides to draw their bonds closer and organises a weekend together. This retreat acts as a catalyst for each member of the family to confront their own emotions, fears and suppressed desires. Through comic and dramatic situations, the protagonists look each other in the face once again and say everything they never dared to say.

The production promises a blend of comedy and drama, with a tone that swings between the hilarious and the moving, built on a succession of uncontrolled, funny, merciless, mystical, unpredictable and surreal scenes. A avant-garde staging that delves into today's personal bonds and relationships.
