Barcelona Big Blues Band ft. Ster Wax

Ster Wax lends her voice to an evening with the Barcelona Big Blues Band at Jamboree 3 in Barcelona, with a jazz programme that traces the rock and roll and rhythm and blues of the twentieth century.

Ster Wax sings alongside the Barcelona Big Blues Band in a jazz concert that also draws on rock and roll, rhythm and blues and other genres that shaped twentieth-century music. The proposal combines a solo vocal with a broad ensemble, featuring piano, double bass, guitar and drums, and a horn section of alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, plus trumpets and trombones.

On stage are David Giorcelli on piano, Ivan Kovacevic on double bass, who also directs, Hector Martin on guitar and Oscar Hita on drums. The winds are completed by Duska Miscevic, Ignasi Poch, Pol Prats, Nil Mujal, Nuria Vito, Jaume Torné, Victor Verges, Aram Montagud and Miguel Berenguer. Jamboree 3 hosts concerts and shows in Barcelona, and this gathering offers an evening of jazz tradition with Ster Wax fronting the band.
