Overview
Caravan is a British progressive rock group formed in 1968 in Canterbury. Their first album, self-titled, was released in 1969 on Decca Records. Among their best-known records is In the Land of Grey and Pink, from 1971, and their name is associated with the Canterbury scene, with influences from jazz and the psychedelia of the period.
The members most closely linked to the group's history are Pye Hastings and Richard Sinclair, historic figures of a line-up that has gone through numerous changes in personnel over its career. I have no details I can specify about the live line-up for this tour.
The night shares the bill with Cmyk. The listing gives R&B, soul, funk, gospel and reggae as the associated genres, while the description of Caravan places them in progressive rock. The concert takes place at La Textil Collective, which programmes concerts and shows in Barcelona.
