Deep Forest is a French group founded in 1992 that blends electronic music, ethnotronica and world music. According to the listing, the project was born in the early 1990s in northern France with the aim of uniting ethnic sounds with electronic and jazz elements of its own.

The group is linked to the 550 Music label, and its first album, which bears the band's name, was released the same year it was founded. Its proposal thus sits on the border between dance-floor electronica and the roots music of different cultures, a crossover that has defined its identity from the outset.

This concert takes place at Sala Vol, a Barcelona venue dedicated to concerts and shows. On stage, the group presents its proposal with the combination of electronic textures and ethnic sounds that characterises its career.
