Helena Rohner. La forma sostenida

The Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas hosts the exhibition Helena Rohner. La forma sostenida from 29 October to 31 January 2027, a show that surveys three decades of career by one of the most prominent jewellery designers on the Spanish scene. Awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts, the Canary Islands-born creator has built an internationally recognised label based on timeless design and sustainability.

Throughout her career, Rohner has stood out for incorporating craft techniques and materials rarely found in contemporary jewellery, combining precious metals with porcelain, wood and ceramics. The exhibition is spread across three rooms in the venue, each dedicated to one of the three decades of her label, allowing visitors to appreciate the evolution of her creative universe from its beginnings to her most recent works.

The itinerary brings together emblematic jewels, decorative objects, working notebooks, photographs and prototypes that reveal the designer's studio process. The display also pays particular attention to her collaborations with prestigious creators and labels, among which her work with David Delfín, Paul Smith and the Danish brand Georg Jensen stand out.
