Jeune Senior Weekend
Jeune Senior Weekend: from 16 to 17 October 2026, at Sala Taro (08014 Barcelona), from €12. Tickets available.
Checked on 15 October 2026.
Overview
Jeune Senior Weekend arrive in Barcelona.
Five young musicians from the North Catalan scene, with members of HelloLisa and Hair and the Iotas, travel down from Perpignan with a sound built on drum machine, synthesisers, guitar and bass: nervous post-punk, melancholic pop and a dancefloor drive that recalls LCD Soundsystem or Taxi Girl.
They bring Unexpected, their first album, produced by Raph Dumas, who has also worked with The Limiñanas and Pascal Comelade, and released through Stryckhnine Recordz. An album recorded almost live so that the energy would not be lost along the way.
And when they finish, the night continues with a set by CRIT! DJs, included with the entry.
