Los Punsetes are an independent pop and rock band formed in Madrid in the early two-thousands. The line-up is characterised by a direct guitar sound of a pop affiliation and lyrics with a usually ironic, acerbic and everyday tone. Their best-known songs include tracks such as Tus amigos, Opinión de mierda or Una persona sospechosa, included on their various studio albums released throughout their career on independent labels.
At live shows, the band maintain a sober staging in which the lead vocals perform the compositions from the centre of the stage with minimalist gestures, backed by the rest of the instruments. The repertoire revisits both their recent compositions and the most prominent tracks from their discography.
