Overview
World Brain is the project of Lucas Chantre, a contemporary emotional pop that combines carefully crafted arrangements, digital nostalgia and organic instrumentation. It is presented at Sala Paral·lel 62 in Barcelona.
World Brain is the project through which Lucas Chantre pursues an expansive pop with an emotional character. His songs blend elaborate arrangements, a touch of digital nostalgia and an organic-sounding instrumentation. The project's catalogue includes two albums, Peer 2 Peer, released in 2019, and Open Source, from 2024, and the musician is linked to the label Mansions and Millions.
On record, the pieces stand out for their melodic care and delicacy. Live, the proposal gains physical weight and energy, with a more chaotic tone than that of his albums. Grooves and pop sensibility combine with a playful stage attitude.
His imagery crosses the intimate with the ironic and the emotional with the performative, and it embraces the contradictions of the present with ease. The project is preparing a new album that will arrive soon. Sala Paral·lel 62 hosts concerts and shows in Barcelona.
