Cookie policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy lists the cookies and similar technologies (browser storage) used on TicketMundi, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). It completes our privacy policy.
In short: TicketMundi uses no advertising cookies and no tracking across websites. Everything listed in sections 1 and 3 is set by TicketMundi itself, on this website only.
1. Strictly necessary
These are set without your consent, because the site needs them to do what you ask.
-
cp_consent(first-party cookie, 6 months): remembers the choices you made in the cookie banner, so that it does not ask you again on every page. -
tm_country(first-party cookie, 12 months): only if you pick a country on the TicketMundi home page; it remembers that choice so that we open the right country next time.
2. Audience measurement (only with your consent)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to count visits and the pages people read. Its
cookies (_ga, _ga_*) last up to 13 months. Nothing loads until you accept, and you can
withdraw your consent at any time.
3. Browser storage that is not a cookie
The site also keeps a few small values in your browser. None of them identifies you or follows you across sites. PECR allows them without consent, provided we tell you about them and, for statistics, let you object (see section 5).
Usage statistics (cookie-free)
Used only to find out how the site is used and to improve it. Kept in sessionStorage: deleted when
you close the tab.
- Visit code: a random code used by our cookie-free usage measurement to group the interactions of a single visit (filter used, page viewed, length of the visit). It cannot recognise you from one visit to the next.
- Display tests: which version of a page layout you were shown, so that it stays the same during your visit and we can compare which version works better.
- Where your visit started: the first page of your visit and, if you came from an AI assistant, its name, so that we know which pages lead to bookings.
Your preferences
Used only to make the site look and work the way you chose.
- Display and choices (
localStorage, until you clear it): for example list or poster view on the home page, the city or language you picked, or a banner you closed. - Visit markers (
sessionStorage, deleted when you close the tab): for example that you have already answered "Was this page useful?" on a page, so that we do not ask again. - Installing the site as an app: the site registers a small service worker so that your phone can install it. It stores no pages and no data about you.
4. Third-party cookies
- Embedded players (YouTube, Spotify, Deezer): a YouTube video only loads when you click play, in privacy-enhanced mode; these services may then set their own cookies. See the embedded media section of our privacy policy.
- Ticket sellers: we set no affiliate cookie ourselves. When you click "Book", you go through the affiliate network's link to the ticket seller, and the network or the seller may set its own cookies, to record that you came from TicketMundi. Their cookie policies apply. See our affiliate disclosure.
5. Changing your choices and objecting
You can change your cookie choices at any time with the "Manage cookies" button at the bottom of every page, or here: .
Objecting to our cookie-free usage statistics: open "Manage cookies", switch off "Usage
statistics" and save. It is on until you switch it off, it is free, and the site works exactly the same without
it. From then on, your browser sends us no usage statistics, the values listed under "Usage statistics" in section
3 are deleted from your browser and no longer stored, and you see the standard layout of every page, without
display tests. Your choice is kept in the cp_consent cookie (section 1) for 6 months; if you delete
it or block cookies, the statistics switch back on and you will need to switch them off again. You can switch
them back on in the same place.
You can also block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them, but it will ask for your cookie choices again.
