SYNOPSIS

Buginu: in some parts of Sardinia, this is one of the terms used to refer to the devil, while elsewhere it means the executioner. A historical error attributes the origin of the name to Giovanni Battista Lorenzo Bogino (minister for Sardinian affairs during the Savoy period), a figure who was not much loved. Here, “bugnu” is used to refer to the demon that resides within every person, within each of us, always ready to manifest itself in its various guises. A show that aims to highlight the thousand ways in which “the evil one” makes itself known, from sex to war.
