Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia: La Leona - Olga Pericet

The Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofía in Valencia hosts the show La Leona by the dancer and choreographer Olga Pericet.

This stage production takes as its reference the famous guitar of the same name by luthier Antonio de Torres to articulate a dialogue between guitar playing, dance and the history of this key instrument in the development of contemporary flamenco guitar. On stage, Olga Pericet's performance combines dance and musicological research in a recital conceived to explore the resonances and materiality of the guitar through movement and sound.

The Palacio de las Artes Reina Sofía, located in Valencia, programmes performing arts, opera and music shows in its various spaces and halls. This artistic event is aimed at audiences interested in contemporary dance, creative flamenco and root music proposals that seek new avenues of expression on stage.
