Overview
A classical guitar recital by Joaquín Panadés, playing the historic Antonio de Torres guitar that belonged to Miquel Llobet, at the Museu de la Música in Barcelona.
Joaquín Panadés plays at this recital on a guitar built by Antonio de Torres in Seville in 1859. The instrument belonged to Miquel Llobet and is part of the collection of the Museu de la Música, where it counts among its most outstanding pieces.
The programme includes the premiere of A la guitarra de Llobet, a rhapsody composed specifically to be performed on this instrument. The concert puts the sound of this historic guitar in the spotlight through a classical guitar recital, in which Panadés combines his role as performer with that of composer.
