Capullo de Jerez

The cantaor Capullo de Jerez gives a flamenco concert in Málaga, performing at the TEATRO ESAD as part of the venue's programming.

Capullo de Jerez is a representative figure of traditional flamenco cante, directly linked to the styles and sounds of Jerez de la Frontera. With a long career on stage dedicated to the most orthodox styles of flamenco, the performer has established himself as a reference in the circuit of tablaos and specialised festivals, maintaining the codes of gypsy oral tradition.

The usual live performance by Capullo de Jerez comprises styles such as bulerías, fandangos and cantes de compás, usually accompanied by guitar and palmas. This proposal is aimed at fans of classic flamenco and those seeking the traditional forms of the genre.

The TEATRO ESAD hosts shows and concerts in Málaga. Located in the city, the venue has the necessary technical infrastructure to host live musical performances within its cultural programming.
