María José Llergo

María José Llergo is giving a concert at the Teatro de la Maestranza as part of her world music tour.

María José Llergo is an artist from Pozoblanco whose work is at the forefront of roots music, fusing the tradition of flamenco with electronic, contemporary and jazz influences. Her recorded output includes works such as Sanación, an EP released in 2020, and the subsequent release of Ultrabelleza, an album issued in 2023 that consolidates her artistic proposition. Her compositions address social issues, memory and nature, with a vocal performance that reinterprets traditional palos from a modern perspective.

The Teatro de la Maestranza, located in Seville, is hosting this concert as part of its regular cultural programme, providing its stage for this repertoire of a contemporary and roots character.
