MPTL Microplastics at The Horse Hospital

Baba Yaga's Hut presents:

MPTL Microplastics + ladr ache and Daltons Fen at The Horse Hospital, December 10th

MPTL Microplastics are an 8 person industrial folk collective based in London with a reputation for original, unbounded song craft & anarchic live performances driven by twin percussionists, mandola, strings, synths & stacks of feedback. They will be performing music from their debut LP 'Sod in Heaven'as well as from upcoming projects.

ladr ache is a six-piece collective from Brussels that combines polyphonic singing with hypnotic rhythms and raw punk energy, as pounding drums clash with buzzing drones, mechanical pulses, amplified objects and serial chanting.

Live, the band crafts a borderless soundscape where the intimate merges with the collective, where machines seem to breathe, and silences carry as much weight as saturated textures. An unstable ritual gradually takes shape: fragile, visceral, and deeply inhabited. A gem from the French-speaking underground.

Daltons Fen

Gout music. Described by John Doran from The Quietus as “a Northern Working Men’s Club Ween”. Described by a young man at the Windmill urinals as “like a pisstake version of a Windmill band”.
